Activity
We want to plan an activity for the purpose of promotion the organization. We were thinking of a game. We would like it to be intellectual and educational, maybe some kind of jeopardy. If you have any suggestions about this matter, please post all your thoughts and feelings here. Every suggestion is highly appreciated!!!

Newspaper news from Mankind United
Organizing a jeopardy is a very good idea, but, I'm sorry, I have no idea about how to organize a game! I just wanted to propose something else.
As you want to promote your organization at Trent University, what about writing an article in the university newspaper ("Arthur", if I remember good?! It's the university newspaper, right?! ) For each release, a member of Mankind United could write an article about the topics dealt with on the forum and therefore to have your ideas known of by students at Trent! Maybe you could make an arrangement with the editor of the newspaper?!

Using Trent newspapers is a great idea and how we are writing an article for them.
It's going to talk about organization in general and also explain people the situation with our name and ask them to get involved with their ideas and suggestions.

iHub presentation
I’m not from Trent, so can only propose how to realize my idea bellow. It’s clear that the Trent students are the key target audience for iHUB promotion at this stage.
Students are students and like shows. Before the game (it’s à good idea!!!) or other activity you should tell the student community what the iHub is. You had better gathered as much students as possible. So you can announce, say, an «iHUB launch party», at which the history, goals and mission will be communicated to the public.
I think Leonid is a good speaker and is able to be spokesperson for iHUB. After the official part guests can have a fun/rest and possibilities to communicate with the iHUB members (as I see most of members are from the Trent Uni)
Apart from beverages and music guests can be requested to fill in a questionnaire. So after the party you’ll receive a feedback, get lots of ideas on how to get students involved in iHUB activities and how to design possible future promotion events.
If iHUB cannot afford holding its own party/presentation I advise you should participate in a relevant Trent Uni event where you can deliver iHUB branded fly sheets, mini CDs, etc.

Summer
I love the idea of an "iHUB launch party"!
But now the classes are over and we're going beyond Trent University.
You may ask "how?"
The answer is here

Anyway, it's not the right time for a launch party I think. Much hard work is to be done yet.

Same here. But do you happen to know anyone, who is either pursuing a career in journalism, or simply likes to write?
For that kind of person the benefits are great - experience, interesting topics to choose from, professional advices, chance to get publishes, and last but not least - great opportunity to be involved with such an organization.
